sélène (noun): the greek goddess of the moon
SELENE was chosen as the name for this community to represent a wise, influential, and quietly powerful feminine force. She is an ancient Greek Titan goddess and the original personification of the moon. In the ancient world, the moon was believed to influence both nature and human life, and Selene was thought to embody its cycles and power.

Selene is described as luminous and mysterious, connected to unseen forces that shape the world. Her love story with the mortal Endymion symbolizes the moon’s beauty—ever-present, yet distant and untouchable.
In some traditions, Selene was believed to hold hidden wisdom beyond her celestial role, inspiring poets, artists, and mystics for centuries.
Today, Selene remains a symbol of the moon’s quiet majesty, constant presence, and enduring light.
ABOUT THE SELENE COLLECTIVE
SELENE is a curated collective of experienced women leaders in Connecticut who want to continue to elevate their leadership influence and impact by improving how they balance business needs, workplace culture, and individual wellbeing. This community is designed for thoughtful and growth-minded leaders who recognize that how they lead at work is deeply connected to how they show up in all areas of life. The collective meets in person in Farmington, CT.
Through monthly, in-person meetings, SELENE offers experienced leaders a space to refine the subtler, higher-leverage skills of leadership, the ones that shape trust, presence, and lasting influence. These facilitated conversations move beyond surface-level development to focus on strengthening one’s voice in the room, leading with greater intention, and achieving more impact with less effort.
Members explore themes such as navigating self-doubt without losing momentum, channeling impulsiveness into discernment, communicating with clarity and authority, and trusting one’s internal compass when complexity is high. The work is practical and immediately applicable, equipping leaders to elevate others, shape culture with confidence, and lead in a way that is both composed and powerful (much like Selene herself).
Andi facilitates these monthly meetings, although occasionally may invite guest speakers to enhance the discussion. Members also benefit from the richness of perspective from leaders with different experiences, roles, and organizational cultures. Between sessions, members stay connected through a private online community, creating continuity, reflection, and shared learning.

INVESTMENT
SELENE is currently accepting a very limited number of founding members. These members will help shape the tone, experience, and rhythm of the collective as it grows. A reduced founding member rate is being offered in recognition of the role these leaders play in establishing the foundation of SELENE.
Cost of membership will increase after the (very) limited founding member capacity is reached. All founding members maintain their reduced rate for the lifetime of their SELENE membership.
Membership is a six-month commitment paid up-front or monthly.

All SELENE meetings will be held at the The Bridge Healing Arts Center in Farmington, CT and follow the same agenda format and timing. The Bridge is easily accessible off highway 84 and Route 6. This serene and wooded location provides a retreat-like feeling without the travel. There is plenty of free parking onsite.
8:30 - 9:00 AM: Arrival and chit chat, light refreshments provided
9:00 - 9:05 AM: Welcome + intro of new members

Founding member capacity is limited to eight (8) members. There is space for up to 40 total members in the SELENE collective, although membership is selective by design, ensuring a community of peers who bring depth, generosity, and presence to the experience.

At this time, SELENE is a community of women leaders who meet in Farmington, CT. Members who live in neighboring states (MA, NY) are welcome to join if they want to make the trek to CT for monthly meetings!
